 Here, after we have installed the trapezoid backing rod, we are taping off the chink lines to achieve perfectly straight and uniform chink lines (not many companies take the time to ensure perfect lines, of course that's what makes our work stand out above "blow and go" chinkers!)

On this home we removed the old mortar (concrete) chinking, using Lovitt's Wood Cleaner & Brightener Kits, restored the 50+ year old logs, installed a new tongue and groove soffit, a new champion metal roof,  performed log replacements & repairs, and replaced supporting beams and posts with larger diameter and stable logs.  In short, we did everything.......

We custom tinted the Lovitt's Natural Gold with a green tint, to preserve the history of the "green cabin" the customer wanted.

We can take an old log home, like this one in Stanwood, WA on the lake, and transform it to better than new!  First, we chipped out the old mortar with air powered guns and pulled all the nails (over 200 lbs worth) that's why you see the heavy cardboard over the windows! 

Then we restored the logs using Lovitt's Wood Cleaner & Brightener Kits, then we sanded and de-felted every square inch of log wood surface, and finished the logs with 2 coats of Lovitt's Natural Gold Wood Finish!   Then, notice the perfect log home chinking job!
