SURFACE PREPARATION: Before finishing, clean surface to remove any dust, grease and other contaminants.  If the wood has been previously stained with a solvent based stain allow 4-6 hours for the stain to dry before applying the Sanding Sealer.  Place drops under the work to be done and mask areas that are not receiving a finish. Temperature should be 60 degrees or above. Low temperatures or high humidity will inhibit drying time.

COVERAGE: 350 square feet per gallon.

APPLICATION: Do not shake, but stir thoroughly before use. Apply the Lovitt's Platinum Interior Finish with an airless sprayer. To avoid injury become familiar with the safe use of an airless sprayer before operating the equipment. Tip recommendations are 3:09. Trim can be brushed but brushing is not recommended on larger surfaces. Spray along the grain of the wood in even strokes. Keep a wet edge and do not reapply in partially dry areas. One to two coats are recommended before applying the top coat. Sanding with 220 grit is recommended within 2 hours. Sand lightly with fine sandpaper between coats and dust completely for a smooth finish. DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL.

CLEAN UP: Clean equipment with warm, soapy water.
