Install a 2" strip of copper along the ridge of the roof, the natural patina process of the copper will release chemicals that run down your roof and slow the growth of moss!

We have the most resilient method of restoration for cedar shake roofs. Of course, we twin chemical wash the shakes to remove moss, dirt, graying, and atmospheric dirt and follow that with a brightening of the shakes.
We then allow the shakes to dry to a moisture level of about 20%, at this time we apply Lovitt's P-Wood which will preserve, permanently harden and act as a bonding agent which prepares the shakes for our customers choice of tinted wood finish.
Then we apply one thick coat of Customers choice of finish when the shakes are at 15% moisture level and just like that we have restored, preserved, and beautified your cedar shake roof.
Cost is usually between $2.50/SF to $3.00/SF depending on difficulty and which Wood Finish you Choose! There it is, measure out your roof if you want to see what it will cost you and give us a call to schedule you in!

P-Wood is a one-time application! The wood finish chosen for the topcoat may have to be recoated periodically depending on the quality of Wood Finish you choose.
Wood treated with P-Wood prior to finishing creates a tenacious bond 300% better than finish alone and will help the coating retain it's color up to 500% longer.
